Assessments

Assessments offered include: Functional Behavior Assessments, Social Skill Assessments for Employment, Executive Functioning Assessments, Sexuality Knowledge Assessments. These assessments can give information about strengths/goals and weaknesses/areas to work on. They are not used to diagnose. Details about each assessment are available upon request. Email Patricia to see which assessment is best for you or your child.

Individual Services

Individual services focus on helping the client acquire skills through evidence-based practices. All goals are based on functional assessments and functional behavior assessments. Currently, Summit Behavior Consulting is only accepting private payment and does not accept insurance. Email Patricia for more information about payment and how to schedule an appointment.

Medicaid Waiver Services

Summit Behavior Consulting works with individuals who are enrolled in Medicaid Waiver Programs (HSC and TxHL). In these instances, behavior support is often paid for by the state. Patricia will work with your provider regarding payment for services. (You will need to fill out a permission form and a referral form- both are located in the “Forms” section on the home page). For individuals who are not enrolled in Medicaid Waiver Programs, private pay is accepted.

Online Social Groups

We offer online groups with the goal of helping individuals to learn skills needed in having and maintaining healthy relationships. This includes learning what makes them comfortable/uncomfortable, how to set a boundary, what to do if your boundaries are violated and how/when to move relationships to the next level. All groups are led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Groups topics change. See the Social Group page for details.

Staff and Parent Training

Summit Behavior Consulting can also provide training to day habs, group homes, schools, parent groups, etc. Potential training topics include; strategies to increase inappropriate behaviors, teaching teens safety strategies in social media and ways to facilitate healthy relationships for people with varying disabilities.
