Social Media Safety Group

This group focuses on teaching neurodivergent individuals to identify red flags when they are communicating with people online. Red flags are no always blatant and can be nuanced. We use repeated practice and multiple scenarios to identify potentially dangerous people we are communicating with online. We also go over perspective taking skills to help identify reasons why people are mean online.

Down Syndrome Connections Group

This group is specifically geared towards individuals with Down Syndrome and their unique learning needs. We focus on relationship safety skills, consent, individual relationships values, advocating for yourself in a variety of settings and assertiveness. Topics may change based on the needs of the group.

This group meets every Monday from 5:30-6:30 pm via Zoom. Contact Tricia for more information.
